LiftSaver TM Mounting Bracket

"I bought the LiftSaver mount a few weeks ago after I upgraded from a fortrex to an Xi5. I mostly crappie fish and the Xi5 holds me over the brush piles if I need to retie or take a fish off. I was concerned that the Xi5 would stick out far enough over my bow that I would damage the tm or my bow roller when loading or unloading. I was also concerned that the Xi5 mount would not allow me to secure the tm to my boat with 6 bolts. I heard stories of some of these mounts being so far forward that there was only room for 4 mounting bolts and some of these tms ended up on the bottom of the lake. After researching solutions I found that the LiftSaver claimed to eliminate this possibility. I ordered it and received it two days later. Installation was simple. I am mechanically challenged but was able to do the install by myself using existing mounting holes in about 2 hours. I just finished installing the LiftSaver Motorguide mount I got for my Xi5 from Ron at RD Fabrication. His product is top notch quality and works as intended. Very beefy and well made. Comes with great instructions...even if it didn't it's pretty straight forward to understand how it works. Alain
